Approval Amendment 2012

Made by the Minister under the Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997 regulation 17(9).

1. Citation

This approval is the Environmental Protection (Western Power Transmission Substation Noise Emissions) Approval Amendment 2012.

2. Approval amended

This approval amends the Environmental Protection (Western Power Transmission Substation Noise Emissions) Approval 2005 (published in the Gazette on 13 June 2006 p. 2057-2061).

3. Clause 4 amended

In clause 4(1) delete the definition of Western Power and insert:

Western Power means the Electricity Networks Corporation established by the Electricity Corporations Act 2005 section 4(1)(b) and operating under the trading name of Western Power.

4. Clause 6 amended

5. Clause 7 amended

Delete clause 7(1)(a) and (b) and insert:

(a) for the period beginning on the day on which the Minister makes the Environmental Protection (Western Power Transmission Substation Noise Emissions) Approval Amendment 2012 and ending on 31 December 2012; and

(b) for each of the 12 month periods beginning on 1 January 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

6. Schedules 1 and 2 replaced

The Environmental Protection Authority (“the Authority”), acting pursuant to section 19 of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (“the Act”), has resolved to hereby delegate to the Chairman of the Authority all of its powers and duties under Part IV, Division 1 of the Act in respect of the strategic proposal for a Common User LNG Hub Precinct in the Kimberley Region, which was referred to the Authority by the Minister for State Development on 25 March 2008, as changed from time to time. Forrest Highway Environmental Offsets

Amendment 025/57 File No. RLS/0194 The Minister for Planning has approved Amendment 025/57 (Forrest Highway Environmental Offsets) to the Peel Region Scheme. This amendment is shown on Western Australian Planning Commission Plans 2.0802, 2.0803/1 and 2.0804/1.
