Voting Information • You are elibible to register and vote if you are a US Citizen, at least age 18 by election day. • You need to re-register if you have: changed your name – moved since last voting – not voted in 10 years. • Last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk, is 15 days prior to election. • In-person registration with local clerk with proof of residency, is 14 days prior to the election through 8:00 pm on Election Day.
Register to vote at: All Secretary of State offices; county, city, township clerk’s office in which you wish to vote; Online Voter Registration Application Form.
As a registered voter, you may: • Vote in National, State, County, Local, School, and Special Elections. Voting hours: 7 am to 8 pm • Hold elected and appointed public office • Sign legal petitions • Become a political party precinct delegate
NO-REASON ABSENTEE VOTING • Last day to request an absent voter ballot via First Class mail, is 5:00 pm Friday prior to Election Day. • Election Day registrants may apply for and vote an absent voter ballot in-person when registering at the local clerk’s office.
