NOTIFICATIONIt is notified for the information of all concerned that:The interview of the eligible candidates, who have applied for the post of: Junior Engineer Grade II-Civil (Item No. 045); Draftsman Civil (Item No 044); & both pertaining to PWD (R&B) Department, Divisional Cadre Kashmir, advertised vide notification no. 01 of 2012 dated 19-07-2012 under Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Special Package for Kashmiri Migrants, shall be conducted on 07th of October, 2013 at 09:30 AM and 02:00 P.M respectively, at Central Office of the J&K Services Selection Board, Zum Zum Building Rambagh, Srinagar.List of the candidates for both the posts is annexed as Annexure “A” to this notificationThe weightage has been calculated on prorata basis with reference to %age of marks obtained in each examination. The formula to calculate points for each qualification is given below:(%age x Total points for a particular qualification)/100In case of the candidates whose name does not figure in the list, are advised to submit their claim on application along with all relevant testimonials self attested and duly attested by Gazetted Officer to the Divisional Office, J&K Service Selection Board, Paloura Opposite B.S.F School, Jammu by or before 30th of September, 2013 for consideration on merits and thereafter no claim shall be entertained.The interview schedule and particulars of the eligible candidates will also be available in the offices of the Administrative Officer, J&K Services selection Board, Jammu /Srinagar.The additional qualifications / reserved category certificate acquired by the candidate after the last date of receipt of application forms shall not be entertained; Mere figuring of name in the list does not entitle the candidate to appear in the interview as it shall be subject to the scrutiny of all testimonials of the candidates shortlisted.No further interview call letter shall be issued to any candidate whose names figure in the said list and they are required to appear before the interview committee on the schedule date & time. Failure of a candidate for appearing in the interview on the given date shall not be interviewed later and shall forfeit his right of considerationIn case of any deficiency with reference to eligibility etc proved at the time of interview, the candidate shall not be allowed to appear in the interview, or if any deficiency is found subsequently the candidate shall not be considered for selection and will be treated as disqualified.The candidate shall have to produce all original certificates / testimonials as asked for vide above referred advertisement notification before the selection committee at the time of interview. The candidates who fail to produce such certificates / testimonials may forfeit their candidature. Any candidate found guilty of impersonating or submitting fabricated / tampered documents / testimonials or making false, incorrect or suppressing material information shall render him / her liable for criminal prosecution under law and may be debarred permanently or for a specific period for consideration of any or all recruitments made by the Board. Also canvassing / lobbying in any form will entail disqualification of the candidate.No TA/DA shall be paid for participation in the interview.Note (1) The candidates are advised to bring Photostat copy of each certificate duly attested by Gazetted Officer with his/her seal and signature and self signed by the candidate itself should be brought along for depositing with the Board at the time of interview in addition to original documents.(2) All candidates have been included in the interview list provisionally and only such candidates shall be allowed to appear in the interview who are within age, possesses valid category certificates and possesses the prescribed qualification before cut of date.(3) The candidates who are called for interview are advised not to bring Mobile phone in the office premises and if found in the premises then He/She shall not be allowed to participate in the interview rather his/her candidature shall be outrightly rejected and no appeal shall lie in this connection..

The Principal of the college, Prof. Yasmin Kawoos apprised the Hon’ble Minister about the issues/problems faced by the institution. The Hon’ble Minister gave a patient hearing and assured all possible help for the overall development of the college. He directed the JKPCC officers to prepare a DPR for the construction of two Staff Rooms for the faculty of the College. The Principal, faculty and college Management is highly grateful to the Hon’ble Minister and Secretary to Higher Education Department for sparing their valuable time out of their busy schedule and for extending full support for further improvement and up-gradation of the college. Further, the Hon’ble Minister assured the esteemed Principal that the necessary repair work of the approach road to the Department of Commerce shall be got executed in due course of time. Sd/
