In the said Rules:

The following shall be inserted as proviso below Rule 15 (c) ofSRO-18 dt.l9-01-1998 "Medical Assistant" :_

"Provided that all the Medical Assistants (Pharmacist) carrying therevised pay scale of Rs. 3050-4910 shall be w.e.f. Ist April, 2005 placedin the pay scale of Rs. 4000-6000. Future recruitment to the posts ofMedical Assistant (Pharmacist) will be made in the pay scale ofRs. 4000-6000."

In continuation to Govt. Order No. 237-F of 2005 dated11(·11-2005 it is hereby ordered that the State Govt. employeesincluding work charge/whole time contingent paid employees

'(Irking in regular time scales of pay shall be paid additionalinstalment of Dearness Allowance @ 4% of Basic pay fromf11.07-2005.

1. The term 'pay' for the purpose of calculation of DearnessAllowance shall be the pay drawn in the prescribed scale ofpay, including Dearness pay, stagnation increment(s) but shallnot include any other type(s) of pay like special payor personalpay etc.

50% arrears on account of revision of DA as per abovemhanced rates w.e.f. 01-07-2005 to 28-02-2006 shall be creditedto individual GP Fund Accounts of the. employees andremaining 50% shall be paid in cash. From 01-03-2006, theiuhanccd DA shall be paid in cash. Such of the Govt. employeeswho have retired up to the issuance of this order shall be paidmears In cash.

The payment on account of Dearness Allowance involving afraction of 50 paisa and above shall be rounded off to thenext rupee and the fractions of less than 50 paisa shall beignored.

t. The provisions of this order shall also apply, mutatis-mutandis.in the case of officers of All India Services.

The other provisions governing grant of Dearness Allowance onpension/Dearness Pension/Family Pension such as regulation ofDA during employment/re-employment, regulation of DA wheremore than one pension is drawn etc. and other provision of theexisting orders/rules (as are not in conflict to the provisions ofthis order) shall continue to remain in force. .

4. The Dearness Allowance as per this order shall henceforth bepaid by the concerned Treasury Officers/paying branches of the
