Anti-Discrimination Act 1977

EXEMPTION ORDER Under the provisions of section 126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW) an exemption is given from sections 8 25 and 51 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW) to NSW Department of Communities and Justice to implement its lsquoWomen in Leadershiprsquo and lsquoAboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in Leadershiprsquo programs This exemption will remain in force until 3 April 2026

Remake of the Sydney Opera House Trust By-law 2015

NOTICE is given in accordance with Section 5 of the above Act of the intention to remake the Sydney

Opera House Trust By-law 2015 under the Sydney Opera House Trust Act 1961

Under the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989 the Sydney Opera House is required to remake its By-law every five years The proposed Sydney Opera House Trust By-law 2021 (draft 2021 By-law) includes the following objectives

Health safety and security of people on the Opera House precinct

Protection of the fabric of the Opera House and its contents

Protection of the Opera House brand and its image as a national icon major tourist attraction and

meeting place

Managing access to the Opera House building and precinct

Protection of revenues

Effective management of the Opera House and its staff

Support for the Opera House as a cultural leader and world-class performing arts centre and

Provision of memorable and enjoyable visitor experiences
