Bishop Tomlinson (retired Bishop of Bendigo) will be the celebrant of our 10.30 a.m. Mass on that day. Provided restrictions allow, we ask parishioners attending to please bring a plate of food to share as we plan to have morning tea after Mass. On Saturday, 14 th of August it will be 100 years since the first Mass was celebrated here in Altona by Very Rev John Barry (Administrator of St Patrick's Cathedral). Archbishop Peter Comensoli will be the celebrant of our 6 p.m. Mass on that day. Provided restrictions allow, we ask parishioners attending to please bring a plate of food to share as we plan to have supper after Mass. Father Michael. It will no longer be necessary to ring in and book your name if you wish to attend Mass. Parishioners are required to QR their entry which means you will need to bring your mobile phone from now on, or sign in your full name and phone number only if you do not have a smart phone. Masks must be worn indoors and the 1.5 metres physical distancing rule applies. “He said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” MARK 6:31 Do you spend time, every day, alone and in silence listening to how God is calling you? If not, you are missing out on a wonderful opportunity to develop a more personal relationship with Him. Unless we talk and more importantly, listen to God every day, how else will we know how He is calling us? Consider making a retreat this year, spend some “alone” time with God.
