St. Mary’s University. It was composed for “Faith Partners” which is underwritten by the American Composers Forum with funds provided by the Otto Bremer Foundation, and it was premiered by the English Lutheran Church in La Crosse.

Proceeds from the concert will be used to feature student musicians in the “Gale Star” series at Old Main in Galesville, WI. Donations made at the concert will help underwrite the costs of concerts and provide stipends to students who perform there to help with their educational needs. University music faculty from Winona State, UW-L, Viterbo, and St. Mary’s University have pointed out the need for students to give performances in a relaxed setting as they prepare for recitals and grades. The auditorium at Old Main, with its Steinway grand piano, is uniquely suited for this purpose.
