February

In February, we are partnering with the Tuli Initiative to provide Mosquito Nets in Uganda. Malaria is the number one cause of death in Africa, and it is spread most often through mosquito bites. Our prayer is to provide mosquito nets to thousands of families in an effort to prevent the spread of this deadly disease.

In March, we are partnering with Switchboard Missions & Walter Ogwang (Ugandan Field Director) to help individuals and families in Uganda start and sustain poultry farms. Hunger is a wide spread epidemic in Uganda. Our prayer is to help establish and sustain long term solutions that meet the hunger crisis for individuals and families all over Uganda.

April

In April we will raise $50,000 to build a new orphanage in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The earthquake of 2010 devastated the country of Haiti and left more than 30,000 children as orphans. At the end of 2011, there were only 100 licensed orphanages in Haiti. In April, we will partner with MMDR to fund and build a fully licensed orphanage.

May

In May, we will work towards providing ongoing Education Solutions in Haiti and Uganda. We will partner with MMDR to develop educational milestones, provide hands on training, and development tools for increasing the level of education in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. We will also partner with the Tuli Initiative to help make it possible for hundreds of Ugandan children to attend and finish their primary education.

PRIMARY EDUCATION

June

In June, we are sending a team to Uganda to help build several villages that have been ravaged by war. Walter Ogwang of Switchboard Missions and Jana Ogg (Ethos Church Family Member) will coordinate the funding and rebuilding of these villages.

SHELTERS

July

In July, we will hold a massive school supply drive for the kids who live in the neighborhoods surrounding East Park. What began as a few school supplies given to a handful of families three years ago has quickly grown into one of the largest outreach ministries at Ethos.

August

In August, we will bless the kids who live in the neighborhoods surrounding East Park. We will host a large back to school event that will be fun for all of the kids, while simultaneously providing a great way to connect with families in need.

September

In September, we will hold a huge Medical Supply Drive to bless a wonderful clinic just a few miles down the street from the Cannery. The Siloam Clinic is a faith based medical clinic that provides exceptional care for residents of Nashville who do not have health insurance. Each year they serve thousands of refugees with much needed love and medical care.

October

In October, we will celebrate our 4th Birthday as a church by building clean water wells all over the globe. Over the last 2 years we have provided more than $100,000 to provide clean water to thousands of people for a life time. Our prayer is that we will provide more clean water in October that we have in the last three years combined.

November

In November, we will organize and coordinate a city wide food drive for the neighborhoods served by Youth for Christ. Youth for Christ is one of our Blueprint Partners that coordinates local churches to strategically serve, bless, and disciple the city of Nashville one neighborhood at a time.

As a church family, there are many injustices in our world, our country, and our city that break our hearts. Yet we believe that much like Nehemiah, with broken hearts, a little faith, and a courageous Spirit we too can put together a BLUEPRINT for rebuilding the walls, and restoring the faith of the people in Nashville and beyond.
