Chair Huizar and Honorable Members of the Planning and Land Use Management Committee,

This is in response to Mr. Reznik's request to change the date of the PLUM meeting. Many of us who plan to be in attendance have already taken time off from our jobs and other responsibilities. We, as a group, would like to maintain the original scheduled date, November 21, 2017.

I as the resident & property owner of 1009 Somera Rd willing to join the neighbors' recent attempts objecting the "mega construction" project's permit issuance for 1047 Somera Rd.Thanks

Please come visit and stroll down our dead end street and take a look at the mad destruction going on all around us! Because it is truly crazy, isn't it? We have been inhaling cement dust for five years now what with this greed to build very imposing houses lot line to lot line where a modest ranch house once stood. The trash and litter is endless, and if I don't pick it up myself, it flows down the drain that says "no dumping drains to ocean" I have called 311 twice to report workers dumping cement down this drain.

Over on Stradella Rd in September a worker fell 300 feet and died on a grading job only slightly more hubristic than the one proposed for 1047 Somera Road. We watched from our living room as the coroner and fire department rappelled down the hillside to recover the 56 year old man.My mother is 95 and wants to die peacefully in her own bed. I keep the air purifiers on 24/7 and she has her music to drown out the noise. The noise from next door to us plus many enormous Building Projects on Chantilly and Chalon make it impossible for us to enjoy her garden and the outdoors in the daytime.

It really is entirely unpleasant, and everyone who comes to visit finds it unfathomable that the frenzy is allowed to be so pervasive in Bel Air. There ought to be a law, they say.
