Citrix Upgrade for Google ChromeInstructions for the recent QTC Citrix Application Upgrade

If you have already worked with a member of our Provider Liaison team and have a Citrix receiver installed on your computer, you do not need to install a newer version. If you are unsure of whether or not you have installed this application, You can check using the following steps:

Click on start Menu. . Then Type “Add or Remove Program” in the search bar and click on it.

If you have already installed the Citrix receiver on your computer, you will see a receiver Icon with the name “Citrix Receiver 4.6” .

If you do not see a Citrix receiver and would like to have a more effective method to search medical records, please contact your Technical Provider Liaison Team at zz_TechnicalProviderLiaison@qtcm.com

If you have the Citrix receiver installed, use the following document to ensure that you can access the system and that it is working as usual.

You will still use the same website to access Citrix. You will go to https://apps.qtcm.com

Step 1: Click on agree to the QTC disclaimer.

Step 2: Enter your same username and password that you had for the previous version of Citrix.

Step 3: When you get to the Citrix Webtop. Click the Kmep Icon to launch your KMEP session.

Step 4: Due to the fact that Chrome recently disabled a plugin that was previously used to detect Citrix on your computer, we have to select “skip” to skip downloading an additional receiver. This will have to be done each time that you log in using the Chrome Web Browser.

Step 5: Click on OK tab. Step 6: When the Citrix receiver launches you will get a “Security Warning” prompt; select “permit use” to open the KMEP Application. Log in to KMEP using the same username and password that you usually do. NOTE: This warning will also occur when you click on the binoculars “Advanced Search” function during a Medical Records Review (Again, select “Permit All”)
