In addition to the excellent performance in heat dissipation of MT series, it stands out from its kinds due to the compact design. For example, model GW50KN-MT with dimensions 586*788*264 (W*H*D, mm) weights only 72kg.

Next, we focus on the thermal design to have inverter with excellent heat dissipation performance from three aspects.

Components such as IGBT that produce a lot of heat in operation are placed onto the radiator and heat is transferred through coolant to heat sink. External fans are used to dissipate heat from heat sink. In this way overall heat dissipation performance is improved.

Based on internal temperature, detected from case body and modules, operation status of fans are changed accordingly. When internal temperature reaches a certain point, the fans starts to work and change rotation speed and when internal temperature reaches another point, the fans stops to save energy. The advantages of smart cooling system control are as follow.

a. The working time of fans are reduced while the cooling effects untouched. And generation is increased as power loss by fan is mitigated. b. Noises during operation is mitigated.c. Running time of fan is reduced and thus the lifespan is extended to improve the reliability of heat dissipation.

As shown in figure 8, fan with epoxy can work normally in without any worry of malfunction.The service life of NMB fan is up to 100 000 hours at ambient temperature of 40℃, which means it can work as long as 11 years

Conclusion

The heat dissipation performance of GoodWe MT series is guaranteed by the excellent air channel design, smart cooling system control and deployment of high-quality components. The inverter can operate in normal status and ensure genera-tion for customers even in hot summer day of tropical areas.
