RitualsIt is important to take time to honor the old year. Rituals, like journaling, help us say a proper goodbye. This is part of a healthy mindfulness practice. What is revealed gives us an honest perspective on how 2018 will help you manifest your intentions for 2019.

“We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned,  so as to have the life that is waiting for us. The old skin has

to be shed before the new one can come."

– Joseph Campbell

Gratitude

✤ One of my ritual exercises at the end of the year is to take time to write down what I am most Grateful for in the year that is ending. It is a way of celebrating all the people, situations and places that have taught me so much and influenced me to be the best person possible. Think about it, who and what do you want to thank in 2018?

✤ Journaling:  Please take 15 minutes to write out your 2018 Gratitude List. Be sure to include ideas, places, people, experiences that you are grateful for.

Success

✤ No more waiting to be successful. You already have so much to be proud of. Tap into the honey of your heart and give grace for the wins. This is important because it serves to till the soil where you’ll plant the seeds of your 2019 intentions. One things for sure, our desires grow better in positivity. So stop giving energy to what didn’t get done this year.

✤ Journaling:  Please take 15 minutes to write out your 2018 Success List, all that you are proud of accomplishing. Appreciate what you achieved and let that be what nourishes your spirit to support an incredible 2019!

Take time to see how far you’ve come & say, “enough is enough.”

Who I am is enough What I have is enough. What I’ve attempted is enough.

As we say good-bye to the sunsets of the old year may we show respect for both the shadow and the light of 2018. Even if this past year was full of challenges, these have also been gifts.

Celebrate those.

“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in;

forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be

encumbered with your old nonsense.”

–Ralph Waldo Emerson

First Time

There is something so delicious about our First Time. There is a radical specialness about our “First’s.”

They are Sacred.

✤ Journaling: Take 15 minutes to write down all the things you tried, foods you tasted, or places you went to for the First Time in 2018.

✤ Now review this list and consider what new experiences are you excited about in the year ahead.

Releasement RitualMantra: ”I offer everything that happened this past year, positive and negative, to the sacred fire. May all that was accomplished bear good fruit. May all my mistakes be forgiven. May the karmas of this past year be dissolved. I offer gratitude for my life." - Sally Kempton

Write down on paper what is no longer serving you:Step 1 Get your pen and purge onto the page.

◦What are you afraid of?◦What are you really afraid of?◦Who are you angry at?◦What frustrates you?◦Who do you need to forgive?

Step 2: Go outside under the moon and the stars. Simply, breath in the air visualizing its healing white energy.

Step 3: Make a safe little fire and one by one say aloud what you've written and then put these slips into the fire and watch them turn to ash and vanish as black smoke. Say to them “be gone". Everything you wrote to be released will be TRANSFORMED into the positive energies of healing, faith and love.

Step 4: Celebrate a new beginning! Happy 2019!

Hello 2019!

Mantra: "I open myself to the potential within me. That which I have written I now desire to be made manifest in my life. I recognise that I am a force for Good in this world and that it is my natural energy to create, to enhance and to multiply.  I claim all of my hopes and desires, made real. I claim abundance of all Good Things.
