February 2011

Well, it is February, 2011 and I have no idea how that came about! The Lord has been so gracious in answering the deep prayers of our hearts, as we seek to know Him more! I have felt for a long time that I did not un-derstand some of the things in Scripture that have puzzled me, so I have been asking for clarification. Our Beloved Yoshi (1996-2010)

RANCH HAPPENINGS (continued …)

We are expecting Judy & Vic Baus to return early this summer. We can hardly wait!

Linda Lanier & her husband Rocky will be here for a Patriotic Concert on Friday evening, August 5th and also will be here for our Sabbath worship service on Saturday, Au-gust 6th. They are so precious and love the Lord so much that we are blessed to call them friends!

We hope to have a larger organic garden this year and have enough to offer some to the community!

Our hens have been laying gorgeous BIG eggs that taste so good! They

are led and protected by our two roosters, Emerald and Buffy! Prime, Choice and Chuck are doing great as well, eating and gaining weight.

The other news from the Ranch is that Yoshi, our beloved Akita dog was called home on Oct. 29th. He left a huge hole in our lives and heart. However, the Lord provided a new Akita girl—Danni—to help fill that space in our hearts. She is a champion and has her Canine Good Citizen certificate and seems to understand when the Holy Spirit is moving. She is especially tuned to hurting people and offers lots of

love! Since we believe that names are prophetic, I’ll share her full name: MUST BE DOING SOME-THING RIGHT! That’s her full name!! We will accept that as the prophecy over her!

TWO WAY STREET by brenda drake

The road goes one direction to the righteous place

Where there is extended mercy and wondrous grace

The wise see that Jesus is the way

They see the way lighted by the truth of the Father’s plan

And they accept the provision of His helping hand.

Words wise guide their every step As good blessings they expect

Sweet comfort and peace encourages their journey on earth

To the place prepared for them since their rebirth

The other direction goes to evil, it’s a two-way street it’s true

The final decision is left up to you

When the truth is rejected And the lie is accepted,

Light will not shine from within your heart

And the foolish will one day hear the Lord say: “Depart”

Matthew 7:23

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye

that work iniquity.

We are learning that the word “law” in the New Testament. Especially in Galatians, Colossians, etc. really is the Torah which means instruction or teaching. It has nothing to do with the law! It is Yahweh's instruction to us to give us the opportunity to live within His blessing and provision. However, it is not a law, it is His Way!! That puts a whole new slant on our under-standing! Yahweh created us for His pleasure! How awesome is that? That out of everything and everyone in the whole universe, He wants a relationship with us! It is a very humbling thought. We are so amazed at His infinite planning, mercy and grace. From Genesis to Revelation, Y’shua is revealed! One of the things that has totally amazed us is how Y’shua is revealed in the 7 Feasts of the Lord! The first 4 Feasts or the spring feasts have been fulfilled with His first coming. The last 3, Rosh Hashanah , Yom Kippur, and Sukkot or Feast of Tabernacles are prophecy yet to be fulfilled at His return. Rosh Hashanah or Feast of Trumpets is the announcement of His return! The Trump of God will sound at His coming! Yom Kippur is a picture of the Judgment of the Lord, and Sukkot or Feast of Tabernacles is when He

comes to tabernacle or live with us for one thousand years on earth! The other picture that is coming into focus is related to the old Hebrew or Jewish Betrothal and wedding. We find that the groom and his father come to the bride’s home and knock at the door. The bride’s fa-ther would only open the door if the bride said to! Then, if she said to open the door, they would come in and request the daughter to be his bride. They would negotiate the terms of the wedding, the feast, the responsibilities of the bride in preparing to be ready, the responsibilities of the groom to go and prepare a place for her, all before the wedding! And, yet, they were considered married or pledged from that time on and they had consumed 3 cups of wine during this process. The 4th cup of wine is for the final portion of the actual ceremony, when they proclaim their commitment and then smash the glass so no one else can drink from it—or come be-tween or into their relationship! What a picture of us as His Bride! He has knocked at the door, we have said “come in”, and He has gone to prepare a place for us! That’s why Y’shua will not drink from the fruit of the vine until He does so with His bride at the marriage supper of the Lamb! Y’shua is coming for His Bride!! Oh, how ex-citing!! Get Ready!

SOUND THE SHOFAR, HE IS COMING!!! HIS BRIDE IS GETTING READY!!!

EREV SHABBAT on FRIDAY EVENINGS

WE ARE BLESSED! We have had a more normal winter this year than last year.

More snow fall, but we have never been “snowed in”! Scott has done a great job of keeping our driveway clear.

We do burn a lot of wood, stay-ing warm, but that was true last year also. In fact, I think overall, it was colder last year, even though there was not as much snow.

The deer in the picture is one that sort of adopted us last year and she is back this year! We named her Lucy because last year she was a darker reddish color than the other whitetails here. This year, she is the same color as the oth-ers.

Montana is good for us & hopefully, we are good for Montana!

We hope more of our friends and family come visit this year. Redemp-tion Ranch is completely set up for visitors. We have four guest rooms

and two bathrooms in our home that function as a Bed & Breakfast. 17 people can comfortably stay; 14 in beds and 5 sleeping mats that can be used for children as well. We have a sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate another two, for a grand total of 19!

If you need a place for a family reunion, a company picnic, a church retreat, or other group func-tion, consider Redemption Ranch! We’re surrounded by breathtaking scenery and all Northwest Montana’s best!

Scott’s parents came up to visit and help with bathroom improvements for 26 days in November. They were a tremendous blessing to our entire fellowship.

Mary and Oscar Leonard were here in August, and Oscar was honored during Linda Lanier’s Pa-triotic Concert. He is one of the last remaining veterans who was involved in the March of Bataan, and he was presented with an American Flag for his time as a POW. We were so proud to call him our friend and be able to thank him for his service to our country! We enjoyed their

visit immensely!

COME VISIT!

God’s subjects during dinner and then will adjourn to the Great Room to view the DVD teaching that just came out this week from John Bevere’s minis-try, Messenger International, titled “the Fear of the Lord.”

I am real excited about this teaching as I feel it is a much needed understanding within the church today!

John has had a great anointing for this subject.

Afterward, we will discuss each session and see how we can grow in our understanding.

I hope many of you will be able to take advantage of this teach-ing wherever you are.

We range from 6 to 16 at dinner and some weeks we have to add on to the table!

We are grateful for this time of fellowship and honoring the Sabbath.

Each Friday evening we meet at 6:00 p.m. to start the Sabbath. After blowing the shofar, we celebrate God’s eternal plan for Sabbath rejoicing!

We light the candles, share the Kiddush cup, salt the Challah bread and enjoy a family style dinner, sharing and laughing.

After dinner, sometimes we stay at the table and study and share or as we will be doing the next few weeks, we will discuss

GOD’S ARMOR Ephesians 6:10 – 20 AENT “Finally, my Brothers, be strong in our Master (Y’shua), and in the energy of his power; and put on the whole armor of Elohim so that you may be able to stand against the strategies of the Accuser. For our conflict is not with flesh and blood but with principalities and with those in authority, and with the possessors of this dark world, and with the evil spirits that are under heaven. (subject to in heaven or ruled by heaven, not just physically below heaven)

“Therefore put on the whole armor of Elohim that you may be able to meet the evil (one); and , being in all respects prepared, may stand firm. Stand up therefore, and gird your loins with truth; and put on the breastplate of righteousness; and defend your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace.

“And now take to you the confidence of faith by which you will have power to quench all the fiery darts of the evil (one). And put on the helmet of salvation; and take hold of the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of Elohim. And pray, with all prayers and supplication, in spirit, at all times; and in prayer be watchful at all seasons, praying constantly and interceding for all the Set Apart believ-ers; and also for me; that language may be given me, in the opening of my mouth; so that I may boldly preach the mystery of the Good News of which I am a messenger in chains; that I may utter it boldly, as I should utter it.”

Notice the energy of His power as we are strong in Y’shua our Messiah! We are offered His energy, but we cannot hold onto it, or move in it without His armor. IT IS GOD’S ARMOR not ours! So, when we say we want all of God, we are extremely foolish if we are not fully dressed with His armor and step into the spiritual realm virtually naked and exposed to all the tactics and schemes of the evil one.

We must start out by putting on God’s Armor every single day, and then ask Elohim to help us see into the spiritual realm. Last fall, Dr. Bruce Allen taught us to understand that we are in two places at once – here on earth in the physical realm, and we are at the same time seated with Y’shua in heavenly places. (Ephesians 2:6)

Since we are seated in heavenly places, we have access to “seeing” what is happening in the heav-enly realm. We are supposed to see and understand what is going on, otherwise, Paul would not have told us to meet the evil one, prepared for the encounter. We are not supposed to be blind-sided by haSatan and his demons, principalities, powers and authorities. We are supposed to be aware and prepared just as a good soldier is armed and dangerous when he is sent out to battle! We need to remember at all times that we are in a very powerful battle, just because the enemy re-treats and re-groups once in a while, does not mean that the battle is won and done!! Each en-counter is just a little (or not so little) skirmish!

THERE IS NO NEED TO FEAR THE ENEMY OR THE BATTLE! We do not tell our troops to live in fear of the enemy! They are taught that they are armed and dangerous and fully able to defeat the enemy before they go into each battle. WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE FULLY ARMED AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS when we have donned God’s Armor, have prayed through and are resting in Him! The times to fear haSatan is when we are not armed with God’s Armor, and have not been using the Word of Elohim, and have not prayed through to the heavenlies! Open that portal to heaven with your prayers; storm heaven!! Show haSatan Who is boss!! He knows, but thinks that we do not know Who we are and Who we serve! Unfortu-nately, most of the time haSatan is right because we have been sloppy, lazy or presumptuous in our relationship with Y’shua and Elohim!

GET DANGEROUS! GET ARMED! KEEP SPIRITUALLY FIT! KEEP THE ENEMY OFF BALANCE AND DISARMED!!!

ABOVE ALL, REMEMBER THAT THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S WHEN WE ARE ANCHORED IN HIM!!!

We worship on Saturday, be-cause one of the TEN COM-MANDMENTS is to honor the Sabbath and keep it holy.

Y’shua did not abolish the TEN COMMANDMENTS, instead, He fulfilled the Torah, summing it up into 2 commandments: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with
