Our Boarding children in Yernagudem Mission, Andhra Pradesh, India.

The specific purpose of the Society is to promotevocations to the priesthood and to train and supplyzealous, dedicated and hard working missionaries

wherever there is need in the Church. Thank God wehave many vocations. But many of them come from ratherpoor families that cannot afford the expenses of 12 yearsof seminary formation. You can give a partial sponsorshipfor a seminarian with $ 30 for a month; $ 300 for a yearand $ 3,000 for a permanent memorial scholarship.

Illiteracy is the root cause of most of the physical andsocial maladies. Rural literacy rates are nearly 20% lessthan urban rates and rural female literacy is less than

50%. Female children face a lot of neglect anddiscrimination. You can help us to educate a poor childand give him/her a chance in life.

HUNGRY FOR GOD’S WORD

“I WAS THIRSTY!”

For many in the missions even the poor appearanceof a house does not exist. Those who somehow orother manage to live with limited income of a long

EDUCATING POOR CHILDREN

With $ 40,000 we could establish a village school.Education is their escape from the oppressive burden ofpoverty. Your support offers these children a bright future.

“I WAS HUNGRY!’’

Child sponsorship provides the child what he/sheneeds to survive - accommodation, food, healthcare and education.

In many villages there is acute shortage for drinkingwater. They drink polluted water from lakes and publictanks which are shared by humans and animals alike.

But during half the year even that is not available. 75% of alldiseases are related to unsafe water. $ 5,000 would providea village with a deep bore well and ensure continuoushealthy drinking water supply.
