Good experience with new procedures on PGN FSRU Lampung

I honestly think it is the first time that implementation of new procedures and checklists of this scale has been done without many comments/ issues from crew. That is a direct result of bringing the crew in on the “task force”.Master Stian Larsen FSRU Manager, PGN FSRU Lampung

The new STS and regasification procedures have been implemented on-board all FSRUs and

PGN FSRU Lampung has entirely good experiences from the implementation process. They

have used the procedures several times and the implementation has been smooth.

The new procedures have enabled the crew on-board

PGN FSRU Lampung to work even better as a team. The

logical structure of the operational procedures has proven

to them that the way they used to conduct their work

preceding the new procedures, was already on the right track.

In more general terms, the pre-arrival meetings and

communication between departments has improved due

to the new layout and generic structure. Procedures and

checklists have been “washed” of all unnecessary content,

and repeating parts of checklists have disappeared. The

booklets are built up to cover the operations step by step.

In other words, the booklets have a major positive impact

on the work flow and preparations for STS.
