- Correct muscle imbalances that may impair golf swing mechanics and lead to injury.
- Improve exibility in all 3 planes of motion for the rotational aspect of the golf swing.
- Incorporate balance training into the program to improve proprioceptive skills which help improve golf swing mechanics, force generation and minimize risk of overuse injuries.
- Enhance proper amounts of range of motion, joint stability, strength, and power to maintain ideal swing mechanics, improve golf performance, and decrease the risk of injury.
- Develop a systematic preseason plan that implements an undulating programming model - Develop a systematic preseason plan that implements an undulating programming model that integrates corrective exercise, stabilization, strength, and power pertaining to golf performance during a typical season for players of all levels.
- Integrate corrective exercise programming and dynamic activities for a warm-up that can be performed on the course using minimal equipment to prepare for a round of golf.
