Set between Cannes, Nice and Grasse, the Golf Club of Opio Valbonne is one of
the jewels in the crown of the Riviera. Imagine an 18-hole course amidst the sea
and the mountains, at the heart of a magnificent domain. Protected by 220
hectares of undulating landscape in the shade of century-old trees, where you
will even find a Gallo Roman aqueduct ! Just a few minutes from some of the
most beautiful coastlines of the Côte d’Azur, this site, sheltered from the wind,
benefits from a sunny climate and an ideal geographical position.
At the golf course, the Château de la Bégude**** offers you the opportunity to
return to traditional values, which has contributed to the success of the region.
The 17th century Bastide has been completely renovated and boasts a
restaurant, overlooking the golf course, where the Chef offers an inspired
Provence cuisine rich with colour and flavour.

A magnificient natural parkIn a magnificent, undulating natural park of 220 hectares, the design of the course
marries perfectly the rich vegetation and the different variety of trees. It is a course
which has attracted the most demanding of European Golfers, who are always in
search of originality and relaxation.
A course renovated in 2002 and 2012The course, one of the oldest in the region, was designed in 1966 by the master of
English architecture, Donald Harradine.
Major work was undertaken in 2002 and 2012.
An absolute delight for the golferThe first nine holes require skillful mastering of the approaches and the irons. As
for the last nine holes, they require long and regular drives.
