8:45AM ORDER OF WORSHIP HYMNS & ANTHEM 11AM ORDER OF WORSHIP
†oPening hymn #341 Come Thou Almighty KingCome, Thou Almighty King. Help us Thy name to sing, Help us to praise:
Father, all glorious, O’er all victorious, Come, and reign over us, Ancient of Days.
Come, Thou Incarnate Word, Gird on Thy mighty sword, our prayers attend: Come, and Thy people bless, and give Thy word success;
Spirit of holiness. On us descend.
Come, Holy Comforter, thy sacred witness bear in this glad hour: Thou who almighty art, now rule in every heart,
Never from us depart, Spirit of power.
To Thee, great One in Three, the highest praises be, hence evermore! Thy sovereign majesty may we in glory see,
And to eternity love and adore.
anthem A Childlike FaithThe greenest fruit, the smallest seed,
With innocence, fufills the greatest need. Where faith is freed from labors of the mind,
A childlike faith is what we find.
The simplest trust, the purest heart; There, miracles can find the surest start.
Where doubt is deaf and questioning is blind, A childlike faith is what we find.
Faith to move the mountain, faith to part the sea, Faith to see the unseen hand that guides us to the promised land.
Faith without condition, faith unknown to pride, Faith in God’s unchanging grace, faith to reach and touch His face.
The strongest hope, the deepest love, The promised peace our hearts are dreaming of.
We look above to leave our fear behind, and childlike faith is what we find. And childlike faith is what we find.
†closing hymn #21 Love Divine All Loves ExcellingLove divine all loves excelling, Joy of heaven to earth come down, Fix in us Thy humble dwelling, All Thy faithful mercies crown. Jesus, Thou art all compassion, Pure, unbounded love Thou art;
Visit us with Thy salvation, Enter every trembling heart.
Breathe, O breathe Thy loving Spirit, Into every troubled breast; Let us all in Thee inherit, Let us find Thy promised rest.
Take away our bent to sinning, Alpha and Omega be; End of faith, as its beginning, Set our hearts at liberty.
Come, Almighty to deliver, Let us all Thy life receive; Suddenly return, and never, Never more Thy temples leave.
Thee we would be always blessing, Serve Thee as Thy hosts above, Pray, and praise Thee without ceasing, Glory in Thy perfect love.
Finish then Thy new creation, Pure and spotless let us be; Let us see Thy great salvation, Perfectly restored in Thee.
Changed from glory into glory, ‘Til in heaven we take our place, ‘Til we cast our crowns before Thee, Lost in wonder, love, and praise.
