Let’s start this article out with another GWRRA building
block.
Communication builds Confidence
Confidence instills Self Esteem
Self Esteem leads to Accomplishments
Accomplishments reveal our Abilities
These are the essential ingredients to success. Whether it is sports, education, career,
family, home or marriage, every part of life should have this recipe as a staple in their life.
If we don’t have communication there is no stability in our lives.
If we don’t have confidence we become withdrawn and unproductive.
If we don’t have self-esteem we are easily intimidated to venture into new territory.
How do we then accomplish what we are capable of doing? How do we expose our true
abilities?
Exactly. We don’t.
When you attend a GWRRA meeting, rally or conference talk, visit with those around you.
Start up a conversation with someone new. If you have ideas don’t be shy. Everyone
benefits hearing from others. Ideas lead to expansion of furthering the thought process
with the goal to expose our abilities through accomplishments. The final result in this
recipe is a content group filled with confidence, self-esteem and venturous spirits.
The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today. H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
TEN (10) THINGS I KNOW ABOUT YOU 1) You are reading this. 2) You are human. 3) You can't say the letter ''P'' without separating your lips. 4) You just attempted to do it. 6) You are laughing at yourself. 7) You have a smile on your face and you skipped No. 5. 8) You just checked to see if there is a No. 5. 9) You laugh at this because you are a fun loving person & everyone does it too. 10) You are probably going to send this to see who else falls for it.
Have a great Day. Laugh, and then Laugh and sing it’s a Beautiful Morning even
when it's not.

Couple of the Year Training at Wing-Ding
We've got some great news for you to share with your members! We're so excited about our Couple of the Year Pro-
gram that we will be offering a 3 hour boot camp at Wing Ding for all Couples who are interested in learning more about
the Couple of the Year Program. This boot camp will be held on Tuesday, August 30th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
It's going to be fun and informative, and it will be a wonderful opportunity for each and every Couple as they embark on
their own Couple of the Year journey to Wing Ding. Just think of the advantage of adding this exclusive training session
to your COY resume!
Led by Lyn & Lynn Edwards from Region A, this boot camp will address many hot topics such as the scoring system,
what to expect in the interview process, how to complete your resume, tips & advice and a whole lot more! With a wealth
of COY experience to share, Lyn & Lynn will deliver the goods!
Space is limited so if you would like to reserve your spot, please register by emailing your name, membership number,
chapter, district and region to [email protected] . And, of course, you are also welcome to join us at Wing
Ding COY Boot Camp without pre-registering.

The Idaho Team is busy working on the Convention coming at the end of July so if you haven’t sent in your
registration you should think about doing it now.
Chapter T is busy putting together some great rides both guided and unguided.
There will be a couple of special events, the Birds of Prey and the War Hawk Museum tours with guides. I
have done both of these more than once and learn something new each time.
We will be having a Couple of the Year selection ‘What month, day and year did GWRRA start?’ which Idaho
hasn’t had for a while. I hope the Chapters are planning on entering the Newsletter of the Year and Chapter
of the Year for 2017. Be sure and keep accurate records of all you FUN events for the year.
Be sure and check the Idaho District website at http://gwrra-id.us/
for all updates.
…And always remember:
Cover any part of your body you’re planning to use later in life.
Thank you.

Greetings Idaho District Members!
Here we are with half the year already gone, so I
thought I’d go out and take a look at your
newsletters to check them against the requirements
for the Newsletter of the Year competition.
Hopefully this is something each chapter is
considering because after looking at numerous other
chapters in other districts and regions, I personally
believe we can confidently stand up with any of
them. Some of ours are more colorful, some are
more succinct, but all have great content; loaded
with relevant information for your membership.
At this point I only reviewed what is required for
consideration and not the optional additional ways
to accumulate points. I haven’t singled anyone out,
but below are the important things I found missing
from one or another newsletter. Please review them
to be sure you have these items located on your
front page or in the contents. If anyone would like
to discuss their newsletter with me personally,
please don’t hesitate to contact me. My e-mail and
phone information can always be found at the
bottom of my article.
