Responsibilities

• Help start local GOLD Affinity Groups

• Attend the RAB GOLD committee meetings

• Report to Region GOLD Committee ideas

• Report GOLD AG activities back to GOLD committee.

Key Activities in 2006

• Update the Region Coordinator Reference Guide

• Share meeting ideas and committee information with regional GOLD groups.

• Had the Central Indianan GOLD group form.• Currently have 10 Active Groups, 1 working on

helping finding a leader. 43% of sections with in the Region have a GOLD group.

• On-line Seminars• GOLD 10 Year Anniversary. • ON-line games – MP3 player as prizes

Plan for 2007

• Hold a Regional GOLD conference.• Work on Communications in the region.• Help section chairs find the right individuals to start GOLD AG. IE visit the local section and I will bring the paperwork• Be able to attend several local GOLD meetings with in the region.• Work with SAC to help the transition of student to full members.• Work on developing programs for the young professional.• Find a replacement.• “Remember that GOLD is the future of IEEE!”
