born in tokyo, spoke some japanese at home

moved to america and then canada, spoke only english

learned japanese again at age 10 stayed in tokyo until age 24 worked in america mostly after that taught in japan for 9 years


Where do you come from?

I was born in Kanazawa city. I spent my whole life there until I

came to Sapporo to attend Hokudai.

Our family moved a lot. I spent most of my childhood in Nagoya.
