Club Highlights
“I Fried My Butt Off” Shoot
August 11th Walking Pistol Shoot had a great turnout for its first
debut. 24 individuals in attendance with 14 shooters. As well as
2 junior shooters. The junior shooters were using rifles and did
very well. Top Shooters for the day:
1st Place Geoff Pinard with 340 points
2nd Place Keven Miller with 320 points
3rd Place Glenn Roy with 315 points.
Thank you to all Members that help make the Shoot Successful
“TURKEY SHOOT”
Sept 8th will be the annual Turkey Shoot. All New Members are
encouraged to come and participate. There will be a work party
on Sept 7th for setup.

• Bathroom Cleaning.
• Cleaning up Brass on Ranges.
• Empty Trash Pails.
• Cleaning Kitchen.
• Cleaning Light Fixtures.
• Laundering Curtins.
• Shoveling in Winter (around
clubhouse & shooting pads, path to
propane tank)
• Weed Wacking (around berms,
clubhouse, shooting pads, and
dumpster.
• Cleaning up storm debris & debris on
ranges.
• Maintain Tarket Frames
• Leaf Blowing 3d Archery Path.
To-do list for members to reference in order
for them to earn work hours to add to their
timesheets.
• Turkey Shoot: Sept 8th, GFG will host the annual Turkey Shoot, testing skill and accuracy on the handgun, standing deer, running deer, shotgun and archery ranges.
• Tukey Shoot and Archery Work Party: September 7th, 2019 will be a work party day. There is work to be done setting up for the Turkey Shoot as well as some archery course maintenance. For those new members that need hours, this is a great opportunity. Chainsaws, rakes and weed whips needed. Remember to bring your own gloves.
• Friends of NRA: is 9/28/2019 $360.00 Per Table or $45.00 Per Person 1 month before. Held at The Double Tree Hilton in Manchester This year is shaping up to be a great year for raffle prizes. For all those who have never attended, it is a great time

Constitution Amendments:
During the June 25th Meeting the Board started the
conversation with the members to make a change to the
Club Constitution. The change is specific to new
membership. For an individual to be sponsored for
membership, they will now have to have two active
members as sponsors. The individuals applying for
membership will be responsible for providing a copy of a
concealed carry permit or background check done by the
police. Please visit the club to read the full amendment!
