The Cast
Ryan Dockery - Lamar
Ryan Dockery is pleased to be playing the role of Lamar. This is his
second stage production and he is glad to be in Godspell at Ten
West. He is heavily involved with the Indianapolis Children's Choir,
Mt. Vernon Drama Department, and the Mt. Vernon High School
Choir. When he is not at school, you can find Ryan at Ten West
volunteering his time. He would like to thank his parents for taking
him to all of the rehearsals and hopes you thoroughly enjoy the show!
Lainy Cullen - Peggy Lainy Cullen is so glad to be in this great show! She is a proud
member of The Mt. Vernon Choirs. Previous roles included the lead
in Arsenic and Old Lace at MV. In her free time, Lainy enjoys
singing and dancing but keep her away from spiders and math
problems! She doesn’t like either.
Shelby Caldwell – Robin Shelby Caldwell is a sophomore at Mt. Vernon. She enjoys
acting and singing in the choir. Her favorite color
is chartreuse and she likes capybaras. She is so glad to be a
part of the Godspell gang. She feels that she has grown
tremendously in her singing and acting abilities. Love you Mom and Dad!
Derek Bond – John/Judas Derek Bond is a strapping young lad who is pleased to be on
stage at Ten West. He can sing, he can dance, and best of all,
he looks good while doing both. He would like to thank Bob
Evans for not firing him while he was working on this show
and his parents for letting him stay out late.
Jake McCarty – Male Understudy
The Cast
Cameron Hansen – Jesus
Cameron Hansen is a senior at Mt. Vernon High School. His
theatrical performances include playing the role of the
steward in Into the Woods, as well as the constable at his
home church, Franklin Road Baptist Church, in a Christmas
play production. In his free time, Cameron enjoys creating
content for computers, spending time with his friends, and participating in his
youth group. He plans to attend Purdue University this fall where he will pursue a
degree in Computer Graphics Technology.
Caitlin Gartrell
Caitlin Gartrell is a 17 year-old junior at MVHS. Her hobbies
include writing, singing, time travel, and watching Doctor Who.
While she isn’t doing so for you today, Caitlin’s favorite thing to
do is to perform, and she would like to thank Cassie, Andrew,
and Matt for still allowing her to be part of this production. She
always loves being involved with theatrical productions at Ten West, and Godspell
is one of her favorite productions of all time. Despite not being apart of the
performing cast, Caitlin would still like to thank everyone for coming out to support
them and hopes that you enjoy the show.
Jake McCarty would have loved to be in the show!
However, scheduling conflicts keep him from fully
participating, so he is on standby as an understudy.
He sings at Mt. Vernon with the rest of the cast and
enjoys fly-fishing of the Ivory Coast. He hopes that the cast has a
fantastic run and that they have the time of their lives. In his free
time, Jake enjoys roots music, a cold glass of apple cider, and a
meatball marinara hot pocket. Mmm, hot pocket.
