God's Word Is A Medicine
You can take God's Word as a medicine with no danger of taking
an overdose.
You do not have to buy it. It is free.
Whatever sickness or disease you are suffering from, God's Word
can cure it. It is effective forany condition.
If satisfactory results are not obtained right away, double the
dosage.
Like any medicine, God's Word has to be taken to be effective.
It will not work sitting on theshelf. And it has to be taken
according to the directions.
If you will follow God's directions as faithfully as you would
follow the directions of a humandoctor, you will see wonderful
results.
Here are the directions:
PROVERBS 4:20-23 NKJ
20 My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my
sayings.21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the
midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them, and health to all
their flesh.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the
issues of life.
In verse 22 the Hebrew word translated health is translated as
medicine in some translations.
PSALM 107:20 NKJ20 He sent His word and healed them, and
delivered them from their destructions.
God's Word will heal. It is full of God's power and carries the
authority of God who spoke it.
God's Word will not return to God void, but will produce what He
sent it to do.
JOHN 8:31-32 NKJ31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed
Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My
disciples indeed.
32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you
free."
You have the guarantee of Jesus -- His Word will produce
freedom.
But, you must abide, or continue in His Word. You must feed it
in until you know that you know
that you know the truth. Then you will act on that Truth -- and
it will make you free.
God's medicine works by taking His Word into your being. You do
that by listening to the Word,
reading the Word, and speaking the Word.

Filling your thoughts with the Word of God more than anything
else is the key. The more of
God's medicine you take, the better off you will be!

bread and your water. And Iwill take sickness away from the midst

2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:3
Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,

kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of
disease among the people.
MATTHEW 8:17 NKJ
17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the
prophet, saying: "He Himself tookour infirmities and bore our
sicknesses."
MARK 16:17-18 NKJ17 "And these signs will follow those who
believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they
will speak with new tongues;
18 ". . . they will lay hands on the sick, and they will
recover."
GALATIANS 3:13 NKJ13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of
the law, having become a curse for us (for it is
written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"),
JAMES 5:15 NKJ15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and
the Lord will raise him up. And if he has
committed sins, he will be forgiven.
