Emotions of God

Psalm 16:8-118 I have set the LORD always before me.

Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue

rejoices; my body also will rest secure,

10 because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. 11 You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence,

with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Psalm 45: You love righteousness and hate wickedness;        therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions        by anointing you with the oil of joy.

Deut 30:9 “The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your fathers,”

Zeph 3:17 “The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."

Is 62:4,5 “…for the LORD will take delight in you, …as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you.

John 17:23 “…May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”

Rom 2:4 “…God's kindness leads you toward repentance”

Ps 103:13,14 “As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.”
