The Little Lamb Opens the 1st Seal:

Worthy is the Little Lamb, Rev. 5:12

Each of the 1st four seals announced by a different cheribum.

First has a voice like Thunder (Thunder draws attention)

The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse

I SawHoraō (6 times in Rev. 6)

I saw: to see = to come into view without particular intention.

I looked: to look = to intentionally view

I watched: to watch = to intentionally view an activity in motion.

Was givenDidōmi (4 times in Rev. 6)Means to give. The riders are given their power.

1 Chron. 29:11-12 Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all. (12) Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all.

A Red Horse – fiery red symbolizing bloodshed

Great sword (that of a Roman Soldier)

Given power to take peace away, and to kill.

A contrived economic famine (oil and wine were fine)

A denarius was a days wage; Matt. 20:2

1 Corinthians 15:25-26 NKJV (25) For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. (26) The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

Revelation 6:9-11 NKJV When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. (10) And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" (11) Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

Cried out (ekrazan), lit. to croak like a raven.

O Lord (despotes) despot – Supreme Sovereign Ruler.

Judge and Avenge our blood.Luke 18:7-8 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? (8) I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

The Supreme Sovereign Ruler says to wait a little while longer.

They were given white victory robes.

All are Subject to God

Revelation 6:15 NKJV And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,

Not final judgment (only 6th seal)

There is no hiding place.

Jer. 23:23-24 "Am I a God near at hand," says the LORD, "And not a God afar off? (24) Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?" says the LORD; "Do I not fill heaven and earth?" says the LORD.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 NKJV (13) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all. (14) For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.

What troubles you?

How long must we endure?

The Sovereign Ruler say wait only a little while.

Rev. 2:10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
