Enable INL researchers to engage pre-college and university faculty, students and facilities in R&D, employee education, nuclear workforce development, and revitalization of nuclear science and engineering education.

• $263K for pre-college events (like Scholastic Tournament, HS & teacher internships…)

• ~ $560K/yr for about 140 interns who are Idaho residents

• ~ $1.2M in research contracts with Idaho universities

• ~ $1M in other Idaho university research thru CAES

• Plus others totaling over $6M per year in Idaho
