WHO WE ARE
The Gied Music School, located in downtown Salt Lake City, is a
501c3 non-profit institution
dedicated to redefining music education in the United States.
The Gied Music School was
ounded by international award-winning artist Eugene Watanabe.We
strongly believe that
educating children is most important in creating a beer uture or
humanity. Our students
are instilled with the value o serving our city: the students o
the Gied Music School play
or hundreds o public school children each year, they were
honored with the 2010 Salt Lake
Mayors Commission on Youth Award, confirming their willingness
to serve our city in addition
to bringing beauty to the world at large.
WE HAVE TWO DIVISIONS:
The ull scholarship, Gifed Music School, with the goal o
providing the highest level, ully
comprehensive music training or the serious student.
Gifed Music School Preparatory Division--instrumental, choral,
and class offerings as part
o a ull curriculum are open to all children.
