DESCRIPTION

This is an old iteration of one of the GMP models for large venue fundraising. This presentation was created in 2007 for a proposed implementation with the musical artists U2 and the Playing For Change Foundation to benefit the ONE Campaign, RED, songs in the classroom and to launch the GMP micro giving portal at the Rose Bowl. It is estimated that had we successfully launched our patentedt viral giving technology at this time we could have raised about $1billion dollars in a week for these worthy charities and the establishment of the Global Mandala Foundation and Unity Fund.

Specifically , a Mandala can embody individual or communal patience, dedication and the selfless giving of oneself to a greater purpose.

DiscoveryWhat is a Mandala?

In common use, mandala has become a generic term for any plan, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically, a microcosm of the Universe from the human perspective.

The word "mandala" is from the classical Indian language of Sanskrit. Loosely translated to mean "circle," a mandala is far more than a simple shape. It represents wholeness, and can be seen as a model for the organizational structure of life itself--a cosmic diagram that reminds us of our relation to the infinite, the world that extends both beyond and within our bodies and minds.

It is about the pattern inherent in creation;It is about the completion of a circle.

MissionWhat is the purpose of The GMP?

The mission of the Global Mandala Project is to promote prosperity and build global community through online and mobile donations, at any time and at any place there are opportunities to give.

The Universality of Giving

It is about creating and actively fostering a ubiquitous mechanism through which people, organizations, corporations and other entities interested in supporting charitable donations can easily contribute to philanthropies of their choice, whether via mobile device, online or within Social Networks.

GMP negotiates challenge grants with jumbo donors to maximize impact; these entities will match fundraising efforts dollar for dollar or a certain percentage.

Any NPO in the GMP network designated as beneficiary at a given event or by a donor party.

The individual donor with a desire to give to their charity of choice and participate in the GMP program at an event (mobile) or online. Each dollar buys a pixel on the Mandala.

Corporate entity could also match donations dollar for dollar (or a percentage) at a given event or over a period of time. Sponsor logo is completed within the Global Mandala once matched.
