Ok the AWS and total recall.

It's a bit of a beasty but nothing like it used to be and since our AWS is a newer snazzier version we can do it all via the Ethernet cable for über speed and don't have to do a MIDI dump ordare I say it SysEx (no I hear you cry!)

So,Firstly launch the Remote software, the icon looks like this and it's in the Dock already:

Now the first page that you come across is where most of your work is done. It's all pretty self-explanatory but the magic button that you want to know about in order to save 'mixes' and'total recall' data is on the right hand side. Everything is stored in one clean 'swoop' Mixes, Project data and Total Recall states are 'spat out' as a standard .ZIP file which can be saved asper usual, anywhere...

You can save Total Recall 'states' on the Desk on-the-fly but it will loose all the data if the power is 'cycled'. Bringing back good old memories of RAM sampling... The desk 'talks' to theRemote software and vice versa. Making a new mix on either will show up in either...

Next the Total Recall tab allows you to view, rename and delete recalls that you have saved. The actual recall work is done in the desk itself by aligning dots and lines on a screen. Easierthan it sounds to be honest and it shows you what's not aligning or if different from your Total Recall save as a white line. Now you may think how can I 'Load' my Total Recall version that Iwant there's no 'load' in this screen? Well it's all done at once on the First tab as shown above.

Finally and often over looked, there's a pretty full 'Track Sheet' feature which looks like the following image. Not only that but if you edit the names in the 'Channels' Tab this will show up onthe Mixer's virtual scribble strip so you can have useful short names rather than Chan 1 -24. And not only that but if you save you 'Track Sheet' the Remote software will allow you to save a.HTML version of that file. Oh how sexy.
