“I came to Glynllifon to improve my understanding of the agricultural industry. I’d definitely recommend the course because I’ve learned a lot since being here.”

Sallie-Ann Roberts, Agriculture Level 3

“I decided to come to college instead of staying on at school because I wanted to pursue a career which was animal-orientated. The course is really varied and interesting, and has given me a broad understanding of animal management. When I finish my studies, I’m hoping to follow an apprenticeship at a veterinary clinic, and become a veterinary nurse.”

Chloe Rayfield, Animal Management Level 3

“I’ve loved my course – it’s given me a great mix of the practical and the theory, so that I can go on to university with a solid foundation. It’s helped build my confidence, and given me a better idea of exactly what I want to do.”

Joseff Davies, Countryside Management Level 3

“If you love horses like me, then you’ll really enjoy the Equine Studies course – I’ve learnt so much!

Because I live in Aberystwyth I stay at Glynllifon’s Hostel. I was nervous to begin with, but I’ve made lots of new friends and had a great time.”

Alwenna Jenkins, Equine Studies Level 3

“The tutors on my course were so helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. I’m going on to study at Level 3 and, after that, will be going back home to the farm where I’ll be using my new skills to develop the family business.”

Aaron Roberts, Agriculture Level 2
