GLUTINOUS RICE DUMPLING

Dragon Boat Festival commemorates the poet and minister Qu Yuan from the ancient

state of Chu during the Warring States period of the Zhou Dynasty. The festival usually

takes place on the 5thday of the 5thmonth in the Chinese calendar. A notable part of

celebrating the festival is making and eating Glutinous Rice Dumplings with the family.
