In fact, GM has the lowest certified fabrication rates in North America. From our 85,000 SF licensed facility in Baja, California, located less than an hour from San Diego, California, we are able to produce a variety of steel with a low cost, highly skilled workforce of certified iron workers.

The GM facility is part of the Manufacturing, Maquiladora and Export Service Industry (IMMEX Decree) that allows North American companies to transport domestic materials into and from Mexico and Canada; duty free under NAFTA.

TIME IS MONEY: SCHEDULE IMPACTOur ability to manufacture far exceeds the capacity of most U.S. based manufacturers; what we can do in 24 hours, takes most U.S. crews several work days. Our facility has the capability – space, ironworkers, tooling, etc. and pro-manufacturing environment that allows us operate at pace that ensures we deliver our projects not only on average of 35% less in cost, but within the necessary schedule.

The quality and cost advantage of products are currently evidenced at the VA Loma Linda Project. GM fabricated over 2,000 tons of structural steel and misc. metals on the project, at a significant cost and time savings to the VA.
