[email protected], [email protected] Abstract The leading organizations round the globe perceive competition as global andtheir strategies are focused on competing and dominating their adversariesby implementing an integrated strategy on a worldwidescale. These international competitors are learning to develop and manufacture products and services that can be introduced and marketed at multi scenarios and countries simultaneously. In doing so, theygather the key resources likematerials, technology, workers, and utilities from sites and suppliers located around the globe. These statements clearly pinpoint tothe fact that for most companies today, competency at the global supply chain isn’t just a desire but in fact has become a fundamental requirement for the business to succeed and prosper on global scale.
