Increases in global average temperature, translating into
regional climate change
Rising temperatures
Changing precipitation
Extreme weather events
Emissions of major “Greenhouse” gases such as carbon
dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O).
Emissions of other greenhouse gases like hydro
fluorocarbons, per fluorocarbons, sulfur hexafluoride.
Greenhouse gas emissions are predominantly from
human activities, although there is a slight role of
natural sources.
Warming is primarily due to carbon dioxide emissions.
Colorless, odorless is the main constituent of greenhouse gas.
Emitted in atmosphere by humans and animals.
Also emitted by burning of fossil fuels and volcanic eruptions.
The concentration of CO2 is current 390ppm(parts per million)
and rising about 1.9ppm/year and average temperature rise 2.5
degrees Celsius.
Electric generation
Transportation
Other industrial/manufacturing
Emission from vehicles
