Tashi Delek and thank you for registering for Yeru Bön Center’s Third Annual 24 Hour Global Prayer.

Our Global Prayer will begin at sMenri Monastery at 7:00 p.m. their time. From there the prayer event will continue west for the next twenty four hours.

We invite you, either by yourself,,as a group or Sangha, to pray and meditate for a minium of one hour from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in your time zone.

The focus of this one hour prayer event is World Peace, to include our world leaders, our soldiers, victims of atrocities, our children, our families. Send all sentient beings the power of love, compassion and forgiveness so that our and forgiveness so that our World can heal and be at peace.

I realize there are people who feel this is a fruitless effort. But I ask,, what is the harm in praying for our soldiers, world leaders, children and family and any other possibilities you feel would bring calm and peace to our world?

I also ask if you would send photos, videos and audios of your prayer session to (facebook.com/YeruGlobalPrayer), the Yeru Global Prayer facebook page, for people to enjoy, and so we can all feel more connected with each other throughout the day.

This year will be my first time being present at Yeru Bön Center during our Global Prayer Event. I have added Lhosar to this day at the Yeru Bön Center. There is a strong possibility, we will have the Global Prayer and Lhosar open to the public by live stream.

I would like all of you to pray the Zhi Gyur Prayer for the spreading of Bön and peace throughout the world. The text is attached for you to use during your prayer time.

The Zhi Gyur is an ancient prayer, quoted from Zermig, which is the medium biography of the nlightened One, Tonpa Shenrab, the, Founder of Bon.

Rinpoche asks everyone participating on our Third Annual Global Prayer Event to use the Zhi Gyur prayer as part of your one hour prayer.

If you are not Bönpo, and have reservations about using the Zhi Gyur, don’t feel that you need to. Youcan use another prayer that you find more suitable. It’s always nice to see people from around the world, and it strengthens our sense of connectionwith each other in the Yeru Global Prayer Event.

This year, we are happy Rinpoche is here in the United States and will be leading our Global Prayer Event at Yeru Bon Center. Translation:

May the forces of demons become pacified. May the three lower realms of cyclicexistent become emptied.

May Yungdrung Bon flourish and grow.

May we increase and accumulate our virtue and merit.

May all our prayers of aspiration come to be effective.

As for the enlightened ones of the three times and the ten directions,

May the infinite numbers of sentient beings, including myself, be in peace and harmony.

May the blessings and compassion ofMay the blessings and compassion of Tonpa Shenrab be upon all beings.

May the aspiration prayers of the gods become effective.

May the teachings of Yungdrung Bon spread.

May all sentient beings experience great happiness.

May the cursing of the demons grow weaker.

May all the beings of cyclic existence,
