EVERYONE CAN REACH SOMEONE –TOGETHER WE CAN REACH THE WORLD
GLOBAL OUTREACH DAY ONE DAY I ONE WORLD I ONE MESSAGE
2 Global Outreach Day
Life – He created heaven and earth, men and women
GOD GAVE US
God gave us
3
GOD GAVE US
A command – Jesus commanded all of us to go
and to reach the whole world with the Gospel.
He said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Mk 16:15
His son – Jesus died to save us for all eternity
God our Savior who wants all
people to be saved and to come
to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Tim 2:4
4 Global Outreach Day
Why is that?
• Christians are not mobi- lized to share the Gospel
• Christians are not trained to share the Gospel
THE CHALLENGE
The Challenge• 6,600 ethnic groups are still unreached
• 90% of Muslims have never heard the Gospel
• In the Western world many people have never heard of Jesus
• Atheists are the fastest growing population group in the USA
Over 90% of church members never share the Gospel with others.

MULTIPLICATION
If we could mobilize and enable the body of Christ
many parts of the world could be reached within a
short period of time.
• If an evangelist reached 1,000 people a day, he would need 20,000 years to reach the whole world.
• If an evangelist reached 400,000 people a day, he could
evangelize the world’s entire population during his lifetime.
• However, if one Christian discipled one person every week
and each new disciple did the same, it would take only 33.5
weeks to reach the whole world!

THE VISION
The VisionImagine a day on which every Christian in the world
shared the Gospel with others. Many Christians would be
mobilized for the fi rst time to intentionally share the Good News.
This is an opportunity to fulfi ll the Great Commission.
The vision of the Global Outreach
Day is that every Christian shares
the Gospel on the same day. Ev
ery year, every Christian, every
where.
On the Global Outreach Day, millions of Christians from many
diff erent cultures, age groups, and denominations will use their
God-given gifts and opportunities to share the Gospel in various
ways. Everywhere. No preacher comes; rather, everyone goes.
Every Christian around the world will be encouraged to set aside
this special day – just like Christmas or Easter.

THE VISION
Everyone can reach someone. Everyone has something to give. Everyone can learn how to share
the Gospel with others.

THE STRATEGY
STRATEGY1. Mobilization Mobilizing Christians around the world to share the Gospel in their own way, according to their unique abilities and opportunities. The aim is at-tainable by anybody – reach at least one person on that day.
2. TrainingChristians worldwide are trained to spread the Gospel by teaching them: how to start a conversation with someone, capture his attention, and lead a conversation; the basics of the Gospel message; how to lead someone to Jesus; and how to disciple a new believer toward a lifestyle of evangelism.
3. Action ONE ON ONEInvite someone over for a cup of coff ee and tell him about Jesus. Call a friend or visit someone you haven’t seen for a long time.
TWO BY TWO Gather a group of believers together for a brief time of prayer and in-troduction, then split up into teams of two to reach the people in that community.
CARE AND SHARE Do a good deed, and then share the good news.
REACH YOUR AREA Make a plan to reach your neighborhood, your city, your area. Involve many Christians and prepare strategically to reach your area home by home, street by street. Find specifi c ways to share the Gospel with people who have never heard it.
11
No preacher comes;rather, everyone goes.
GOSPEL-SHARING IDEAS FROM A-Z:From the airport to the zoo, innumerable opportunities abound to share the Gospel: Book table, children, door-to-door, friendship evangelism, hospital, internet, old-people’s homes, open-air meetings, parks, pris-ons, public transportation, shopping malls ...
4. Follow-up The goal is that people will be won for Jesus and will also follow Him afterwards. Therefore we train each believer to lead others into dis-cipleship. As the Great Commission permeates the lifestyles of believ-ers around the world, G.O.D. should also grow into a movement. This Global Outreach Movement can already be seen in several countries (e.g., Mexico) where Christians continue to evangelize together. In Nepal many evangelistic activities continue – the fi rst national church planting conference was initiated soon after the G.O.D. and churches are following up new believers throughout the country.
The RCCG, a church network with over 30,000 churches in 198 nations, established a monthly evangelism day for all their churches as a result of their G.O.D. involvement. Besides promoting a personal lifestyle of evangelism, G.O.D. also serves as a catalyst for evangelizing entire cities and countries.
THE STRATEGY
12 Global Outreach Day
PRAYER
PrayerG.O.D. works hand in hand with prayer.
Partnering with prayer networks like
Global Day of Prayer, IHOP, and 24/7,
the fi rst G.O.D. began with a prayer
meeting where one million Christians
prayed for a global breakthrough. After-
wards the believers went out to share
the Gospel in their cities and villages.
The preparation in prayer includes not
only intercession for the outreach day,
but every intercessor also prays, “Lord,
send me, use me. I will be obedient to
your word. I will go.”

TESTIMONIES
Brazil
Two 15-year-old girls prayed for a woman who could not walk without assistance. After prayer, she not only ran, but she even jumped up and down! A young man prayed for a man who was deaf in one ear, and afterwards he could hear normally again. At that open-air meeting 200 people decided to follow Jesus.
Moldova
A 19-year-old teen mobilized more than one million Christians in about 300 locations in all 26 states. They said it was the big-gest mobilization of Christians for evangelism in the history of Bra-zil. It started at midnight, when masses of Christians posted the following on Facebook: “Jesus loves you.” Then the Gospel was proclaimed in many diff er-ent ways.
Thousands were also in the favelas (the slums) tending to practical needs while preach-
ing the Gospel. Meeting places of drug dealers and prostitutes were fl ooded by the love of God, and masses of Brazilians converted to Christ. One group met a man who was about to commit suicide and shared the Good News of God’s love with him. God used them to save this man’s life and soul.

TESTIMONIES
Mexico City The Global Outreach Day was the kick-off to reach the second larg-est urban area of the world with the Gospel. Churches united to reach every household of Mexico City, street by street, starting from the G.O.D. and aiming to fi nish on Christmas. To support this, we printed 10 million Gospel tracts. The G.O.D. released both a great unity among the churches and a new enthusiasm for evangelism in Mexico. The national G.O.D. coor-dinator reported the following:
In July 2013, a hundred churches ministered together on the larg-est square of Mexico City. The 400,000 tracts they distributed resulted in 5,000 people accept-ing Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord. Other cities in Mexico
have been targeted to system-atically reach with the Gospel as well. On G.O.D. events in Au-gust and September churches will evangelize at all metro sta-tions and traffi c lights in the city. Monthly training events will teach even more Christians to witness to their faith.
Conversions are reported every-where. For example, a small girl gave her alcoholic father a tract. He was so convicted that he got his life right with God at 5:00 a.m. The Customs offi cer who processed the tract shipment was the fi rst to decide to follow Jesus. All major denominations across the country (about 15,000 congregations col-lectively) have committed to join G.O.D. in 2014.

Pakistan Over 10,000 Christians in 50 towns and 300 villages proclaimed the Gospel in schools and universi-ties, invited Muslim friends to dinner, and organized open-air events.
Everywhere they met Mus-lims who were very open and said they had never seen Christians so united in purpose and bold in their witness.
Hundreds of Christians proclaimed the Gospel on a beach to 20,000 destitute people – the poor, crimi-nals, prostitutes, and drug addicts who lived in small huts or little wooden box-es. They also distributed food and off ered medical assistance. This was the last outreach in that place because a huge wave later destroyed the whole area
and some died. On that day the teams took some of the homeless children with them to live in their own orphanage. Some of these new believers now attend churches in this area.

Mozambique After praying for a deaf 12- year-old girl, her father re-ported her healing the next
day. Also Muslims believed and were baptized.
20 Global Outreach Day
India Many of the largest churches and Christian associations were mobilized. An infl uential leader said that God had been preparing him for this project for years. He built an apostolic team with the goal to reach all the federal states of India.
Where the sun goes down and the day ends, the Gospel was proclaimed as part of an Iron Man event.
Malaysia
Hawaii
Where the sun rises and the Global Out-reach Day begins, some teenagers just went out on the street and led over 100 people to Jesus.
Solomon Islands
Over 10,000 households were reached with the Gospel.

A whole town was reached with the distribution of 50,000 evan-gelistic newspapers. Christians gave roses to prostitutes in a
nightclub and organized a large fl ash mob in the city of Zurich. Switzerland
This is just a small sampling of testimonies. Christians everywhere took action, even in countries like Saudi Arabia, Siberia, and the Fiji Islands.
Though doctors had given upon a young girl who had been in a coma for about four months, some Christians prayed for her
on G.O.D. When she woke from the coma the next day, three of the doctors became believers.
Many diff erent activities took place across the country. Cou-ples dressed as brides and grooms made a Wedding-Dance-Flashmob, shared testimonies and gave roses away. Some
Christians used Facebook, and others visited folks in hospitals and nursing homes. Even family celebrations and open-air meet-ings were used to reach people.
