About Global Industrie
Global Industrie will be held in Lyon, from 5th to 8th March 2019. The 1st edition took place in Paris in
early 2018. This fair will cover the whole of industry and enable you to discover your partners and all the
solutions, technologies, services and know-how you need for the industry of today and tomorrow. The fair
targets the entire industrial ecosystem (from start up to major customer including subcontractors,
equipment manufacturers, competitiveness clusters, research centres and incubators...), the entire added
value chain (R&D, design, production, maintenance, services…), and all user markets.
The event brings together 4 major shows that are leaders in their respective field :
o Industrie : manufacturing technologies and equipment event
o Smart Industrie : smart, efficient and digital industry know-how
o Midest : for all industrial subcontracting know-how
o Tolexpo : for sheet metal, tube and section working

Industry 4.0 international days, 6 & 7 March Conference and Business meetings
Conference – 6th March
During Global Industrie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises will organise an international conference.
Through keynotes, panel discussions and networking, the aim is to share with companies information and
good practices that have emerged in industrial companies all over the world – from a technological,
economical and human point of view – to take advantages of these technologies and enhance
performance.
About 12 companies, SMEs, intermediate-sized enterprise, and international companies such as Siemens, Staübli, Gravotech and Geprom, will share their experience with the participants and dicuss about :
the importance of rethinking business strategies and business models impacted by these new
technologies,
the need to train employees in these new technologies,
and the need to recruit new competences and profiles (e.g.: data scientists…)
Business meetings – 6-7th March
The international Business meetings about Industry 4.0 will be organised on 6th and 7th March. This
matchmaking event is a great opportunity to meet potential cooperation partners for technological,
commercial or collaborative research projects in this field. People meet and greet 20 minutes to build
connections. It will also be open to Horizon 2020 calls for proposal related to this thematic.
How it works ?

2. Select your attendance, complete your personal and organisation information, select relevant
keywords describing your areas of activity
3. Complete your profile in the Marketplace: what are your cooperation offers and/or requests
4. Send meetings requests after browsing participant’s profiles, and manage your meetings requests
5. On March 5th, you will receive your schedule of pre-arranged meetings, according to your availability
Who can participate ? All private and public industrial players (companies, clusters, research laboratories, incubators...), from the entire added value chain and all the various user markets.
