• Culture visits include:

• Tiananmen Square, The Great Wall, Yu Yuan Gardens, Tea Culture, Gudong waterfall, ancient villages, caves and mountains, lakes and rivers, pandas and more

• Business visits include:

• Canature, Coca Cola, Yakult, Plug and Play, HejunGroup, Bosch Auto, Yindu Advertising, Eisho, and more

• Visits to several universities for lectures and meeting Chinese college students

• Disney case study – go to park

• Coursework

• Write a group paper on an assigned Chinese company we will visit

• Read a book about doing business in China, short report

• Case study on Disneyland Shanghai versus Disneyland Hong Kong

• Detailed daily journal with cultural reflections and personal growth

• Observations on cultural and business differences between China and US

• Informal Chinese language learning

• Participation in all activities required

• Can be substituted for Area/PW 3 (Social Science) and/or Area7/PW (Global). Area/PW 2 (Humanities) with additional paper assignment.

• Program Fee: $7450

• GEO fees: $100

• Tuition and Fees: $1281 ($3072)

• Meals not provided: $400

• Books and Materials: $40

• Passport: $145

• Visa: $140 (+$100 service to expedite)

• Personal/other expenses: $400
