Just provide us with your media build and we bring the advantages of factory integration to Configuration Management Systems (CMS) tools such as Microsoft SCCM. Our CMS factory integration capability enables us to run most of your SCCM sequencing tasks in our factory. This minimizes the configuration tasks you need to perform once your new systems arrive, leaving only a few simple tasks such as “Join Domain” as the final step before installation is complete.

Image ManagementTo help simplify the costly and complex task of image management, Dell ImageDirect enables you to develop a single master image and apply it across all new platforms and user groups through this simple online service. With ImageDirect, administrators can upload an image created locally. If you prefer onsite service, we can provide imaging consultants to help integrate and manage your image. Either way, online or onsite, we help ensure your image is right the first time so you can get a fully functional image ready for system deployment. Both forms of Dell image management services are designed to work with you to maintain and update your system’s core software and settings.

Hardware IntegrationFor new Dell systems, some customers need specific non-Dell components (e.g. network adapters/graphics adapters). We can integrate these third party components, sourcing the parts through our extensive supply chain and installing as part of the standard factory build. We also can customize hardware settings, including: CMOS/BIOS settings, jumper settings, port settings, special scripting and hard drive partitioning to your specific requirements. When additional documents etc. are required, we can include them in the shipping box via ‘Drop in the Box’ capability.

Software IntegrationCustom or standard configurations of standard, custom or proprietary software can be installed in the factory environment based on your requirements and schedule. In this manner, you can ensure systems will have the same version of the same software.

This automated installation saves hours in deployment and reduces potential post-deployment issues. We can create image recovery CD or DVDs, that can be shipped with each system, for quick resolution of support issues. We can also integrate packaged applications or custom applications as part of the standard factory software load process. For server deployments, we can customise the standard factory operating system installation to meet unique requirements.

NEW CMS Factory IntegrationWe bring the advantages of factory integration to the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) process. By running most of the sequencing tasks in our factory, we minimize the configuration tasks you need to perform at your site. This leaves only a few simple tasks such as “Join Domain” as the final step before installation is complete.

Asset IdentificationConfiguration Services offers multiple solutions for identifying and tracking your hardware assets. The simplest solution is asset tags, enabling users and IT helpdesks alike to quickly identify systems. Asset reporting can assist Good In with scheduling and IT departments with pre-provisioning primary domain controllers, while Ship-box Labels allow for easy shipment identification. We can offer more permanent solutions such as laser etching or system ‘skins’ for a completely unique system appearance.

Rack & StackRack and Stack provides a consistent, high quality and repeatable solution for delivering fully configured Racks to your site, ready for deployment. Beginning with a mutually agreed design that is used as a blueprint, we will consolidate all hardware in our fulfilment centre. Racks, Servers, Switches and Power are all merged along with third party components or customer consigned stock ready for the building of the Rack. Qualified and experienced engineers run the end to end process and once all components are racked, the system can be powered on, tested and configured to your specification.

Delivery optionsWith Order Consolidation, all Dell branded hardware can be consolidated with any third party hardware ordered through our global fulfillment centres and delivered when and how you want it. Combining this with Custom Shipping or Delivery on Demand including date specific delivery, inside delivery and package unloading and removal, we are able to offer a complete custom delivery solution to meet your business requirements.

By stocking finished product for up to 90 days, we can offer a rapid deployment process allowing product to be ordered as and when required or shipped to an agreed schedule. By maintaining a stock of product, we are able to deploy quickly and reduce delays to your rollout schedule or project plan.
