You have traveled to China to take in the culture and sites of this ancient civilization. You are especially looking forward to seeing the Great Wall of China.
You are mostly looking forward to the visit because The Wall is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled areas in the country, and it has been a crucial part of the society for hundreds of years. On your way to the Great Wall, you pass by a busy area filled with stalls selling tourist souvenirs. A familiar symbol suddenly catches your eye, and you turn to see the golden arches of a McDonald’s restaurant amid
all the unfamiliar sights.
