What is NAAL?• The Norwegian Association for Adult Learning

(NAAL) is the national NGO umbrella for adult learning in Norway. Our members are 19 governmentally approved adult learning associations with a member network of 467 more or less nationwide adult learning NGOs. In 2009 our members activity included training of 470 000 participants and over 37 000 courses.

What is non-formal learning ?

• Formal learning / education we all understand

• But what is un-formal and non-formal ?

• Un-formal: ”learning just happens”

• Non-formal: ”learning is intended”.

But first !

• The first legislation for adult education in Norway came in 1976. There are today several laws and regulations for different parts of adult education; such as – adult community learning – liberal/popular adult education – adult education parallel to the ordinary school system – adult education at the work place/educational leave – recognition of skills/prior learning – Adult education for immigrants and refugees, Norwegian as a second

language etc.

• But first, we have to take a look at the background for the position of adult learning in Norway…

attain a more meaningful life. This act shall contribute to providing adults equality in access to knowledge, insight and skills which promote the individual’s endeavors to find their own values and help in their personal development, and thus strengthen the basis for independent achievement and cooperation with others in work and community life.”

Na ile jesteś zadowolony/a z udziału w szkoleniu? „Cieszę się, że mogłam wziąć udział w tym szkoleniu, wiele się nauczyłam, bez tego

szkolenia nie miałabym możliwości osiągnąć tej wiedzy. Mam nadzieję, że moja

praca będzie bardziej bogata o zdobyte doświadczenie i wiedzę, którą będę się

mogła dzielić z innymi”

Kurs okazał się bardzo przydatny. Rozszerzyłem wiedzę i jednocześnie sam w

szkole przeprowadziłem szkolenie związane z tematem zgłebionym na kursie

e-learningowym.

Sądzę, że e-learning ma przyszłość. Pozwala na szkolenia osób do tej pory

częściowo lub całkowicie wykluczonych z powodu np. odległości, kalectwa lub

sytuacji rodzinnej. Ja sama miałabym kłopot aby skorzystać ze standardowego

szkolenia, ze względu na pracę głównie popołudniami i małe dzieci.

„Serdecznie dziękuję za Wasz trud w zorganizowaniu tego typu szkolenia i za to, że

mogłam w nim uczestniczyć, choć brakowało mi było bezpośredniego kontaktu.

Uważam jednak, że warto organizować takie szkolenia gdzie można brać udział

tylko przy pomocy internetu - jest też mobilizacja do pracy. Pozdrawiam.”
