Greater Lansing Homeless Resolution Network CQI Meeting Minutes April 13th, 2016 9:00 am – 10:30 am Legal Services Present: Liza Rios (Legal Services), Meghan Rhoades (Haven House), Matt Stevenson (HRCS), Maresa Tedrick (CFC), and David Henrion (GLHRN) 1) Call to Order and Introductions a) Liza Rios called the meeting to order at 9:07. 2) Review and approve March meeting minutes a) Liza noted the board really liked the new UDE report Matt Stevenson created. b) The minutes were approved with corrections. 3) Q2 MSHDA reports a) Matt began by reviewing the MSHDA quarterly reporting table. i) He said it mostly reviewed the HARA, outside of questions 1, 2, and 3. There were about 100 fewer singles screened, but about 150 more in families. Matt also noted that the number of people with zero income has decreased while the income outcomes have not changed. b) Notes page i) Matt note the number of clients are down 18.5%, and Maresa Tedrick and Liza discussed whether this is due to less people needing services or not reaching the population. ii) Matt noted an increase of 10 households served in the last quarter, and Megan Rhoades said families have been staying at Haven House for a full 30 days. iii) Matt said the HARA is screening more people while admitting fewer clients, and admitting more people to their HCV list. c) Outcome reports

Legal Services

Present: Liza Rios (Legal Services), Meghan Rhoades (Haven House), Matt Stevenson (HRCS), Maresa Tedrick (CFC), and David Henrion (GLHRN)

1) Call to Order and Introductionsa) Liza Rios called the meeting to order at 9:07.

c) Outcome reportsi) Matt noted outcomes measures seem to be up, except for the VOA shelter. He

also said NCA is only serving about 1/3 of the people they used to, which might mean their data has a problem.

ii) The group discussed L&F, and their 14-day stay policy.iii) Meghan and Liza thought DHHS seemed to be faster. iv) The group discussed CFC kids and their eligibility for benefits. Matt and Liza

agreed this could be work a closer look. They also agreed to look on the income outcomes.

d) Matt noted the numbers on the semi-annual ESG outcome report make sense, based on the HARA’s practices.

4) Adjournmenta) Liza adjourned the meeting at 9:56.
