I suppose while I am writing this you may be in the fight God Grant that you may

come safely out I see by the paper that you were first over & two of your men woundedwe are

now all anxiety as to your safetyMother the aunties Floy & myself attended the funeral of

Elnathan Parsons to daydied friday 2 A.M.

Agnes will have her letter to send tomorrow all well have no more time to write more send two

papers with this
