    1846

    Dear sister We are all well here at

    home hoping that these few lines will find you in the same predicamen Cousin frank Hay has

    been here and says that Aunte Hay is well there has been a fire at Saratoga which burnt up 9 or

    10 stores. Mr Shooner is the slowist man About the store ever I did see.

    Mort Coffin was married last Thursday to Harriet Clark and I had a peice of the wedding cake.

    Elisabeth like to have died with the croup the other night. Mrs wing is not health is very poor

    indeed I got such an all fired toothache that I cant write a bit Grandmother sends her love to

    you and ours to Newton and the rest of us do
