Student of the Week – Hylton Thomson Hylton is in Year 6 and in 5/6Maroon. When he grows up he would like to be an actor, illustrator or an author. His favourite memory from this year is going up Telstra Tower in Canberra. Hylton has 4 siblings and his favourite movies at the moment is Gods of Egypt and Percy Jackson; The Lightning Thief. Hylton’s favourite part of Christmas is opening gifts and he is hoping for a new drone. His advice for year 5 students would be ‘If you want to be a school leader, you need to try your best for your speech and put some jokes in it’ (It worked for him!). Hylton is excited for High School next year but will miss the teachers, particularly Mrs Greatbatch.

2019 School Leaders Candidates will present their speech at the School Leader Speech Assembly on Friday 30th November 2018 at 12:30pm.

Parents and families are welcome to attend.

School Leaders are elected by staff and students from Years 2 to 5.

The 2019 School Leaders will be announced at our School Presentation Assembly in Term 4 Week 9.

Class of the week- 5/6 MAROON

Throughout the term, 5/6 Maroon have been studying the text ‘Rules of Summer’ by Shaun Tan. We have been experimenting with text and image features and learning to justify our thoughts and opinions. We are super excited to take our learning to the next step and show our efforts to our peers and families at the end of term. Stay tuned....
