Random Musical is totally spontaneous, totally improvised and totally random. Audience members write down their name and favourite random word, a title for a brand new musical is conjured up and we are away. The random words inspire every twist and turn of the show, propelling the characters into uncharted spontaneous storytelling and song. The audience may just find themselves playing characters, creatures, sound effects or objects. It’s a different show every performance.“Anything is possible – from fairy tales to mythical beasts, the show is limited only by your imagination!”

A great spinner of fantastical tales Finegan Kruckemeyer wrote Simon’s Final Sound for four gifted comedic performers. It’s the tale of Simon, a no-hoper who is going deaf. He goes in search of a magical, possibly mythical island, where he thinks he will find consolation. He teams up with Michael, a dull banker, with a duller life, and Michael’s wife Ginny, who is about to leave him. Along for the ride is Claude, a blisteringly annoying blockhead with zero social skills. Launching from a jetty of loss and melancholy, Simon’s Final Sound takes the audience on a colourful voyage of hula skirts, high-jinx and belly laughs. It makes land on an island of insight and compassion.

Always...Patsy Cline is more than a tribute to the legendary country singer who died tragically at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963. The show is based on a true story about Cline’s friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in l961, and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death. The show’s title was inspired by Cline’s letters to Seger, which were consistently signed “Love ALWAYS... Patsy Cline.”The musical play, complete with down home country humour, true emotion and even some audience participation, includes 27 of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Walking After Midnight. It stars Australian Country Music singing sensation Courtney Conway and popular stage star Mandi Lodge (Just The Ticket).“Go to see Always...Patsy Cline to hear the memorable songs and you’ll discover a heartfelt story that will lift your spirits.” Chicago Critic

Through the investigation of his death, it becomes clear that for most of their married life he conducted an elaborate secret life as a swinger. “I See My Sea” - A series of photographs created by Tim Kanoa, former resident of Portland. The ocean, is profoundly spiritual. Its scent alone, can transcend my mind back to the vivid memories I have of growing up by the sea. “I See My Sea”, is a series of images I captured on the many trips back home to Portland. The images encourage you to see the sea through a spiritual and emotional point of view.

In general my work uses everyday found materials though I also work with monoprints and painting. I often use textile linked techniques such as weaving, cutting and reconstructing, pattern repeats, finger knitting and so on to remake familiar materials from everyday life with all their histories and associations, into something new which makes comments about the context in which it is made. Sometimes these works take on an archival quality as things such as Met tickets and other printed matter become digitalised, and become a record of what Once Was.
