Theuniquesphericalshapeof3Mglassbubblesoffersanumber
ofimportantbenefits,including:higherfillerloading,lower
viscosity/improvedflowandreducedshrinkageandwarpage.It
alsohelpsthe3Mglassbubblesblendreadilyintocompounds
andmakesthemadaptabletoavarietyofproductionprocesses
includingspraying,castingandmolding.
Thechemicallystablesoda-lime-borosilicateglasscomposition
of3Mglassbubblesprovidesexcellentwaterresistancetocreate
morestableemulsions.Theyarealsonon-combustibleandnon-
porous,sotheydonotabsorbresin.And,theirlowalkalinitygives
3Mglassbubblescompatibilitywithmostresins,stableviscosity
andlongshelflife.
3M Glass Bubbles K Series and S Seriesarespecially
formulatedforahighstrength-to-weightratio.Thisallowsgreater
survivabilityundermanydemandingprocessingconditions,such
