IntroductionWeknowhowlostyoucanfeelwhenyouoryourlovedoneisdiagnosedwithabraintumour.Butwealsoknowhowmanyinvaluablesupportservicesthereareavailablelocallythatcanhelpyouateverystepofyourbraintumourjourney.
Hereatbrainstrustwe’vebeenworkingtirelesslywiththehelpofourfantasticvolunteerssearchinghighandlowforuseful,localservicesforpeopleaffectedbyabraintumour.Thisdirectory,focusingonthecharitysector,includesinformationonsomeofthebestoftheseservicesinGlasgow.Wehopeyoufindittobeanauthoritativeguideandthatithelpsyouaccesstheseresourcesinyourareaquicklyandwhenyoumostneedthem.

The essence of networking is to share experiential sympathy and understanding which can be beyond the scope of health care professionals. Networkingalsoallowsyoutomeetothersfromthewidercommunity–notjustthosewhotypicallyattendsupportgroups.Thesepeoplecanincluderesearchers,fundraisers,charityworkersandotherinterestedparties.
