Something To Consider…INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN

Weather in Bali is generally dry from April to October and wet from November to March. The wet season

back-up plan is compulsory. The options available depend on the size of your group.

RAIN STOPPER SERVICES

To ensure festivals and special events are not dampened by rain, the Balinese often perform a ritual to

divert rain to other locations or simply hold it back for several hours. Performed by a Balinese Hindu priest, it

involves making small offerings and burning incense as well as a plate of fire (pengesepan), whose rising smoke is

believed to push the clouds away. This ritual is available at IDR 2,000,000++/day (12 hours). Alila Seminyak

cannot be held responsible for adverse weather conditions or failure of the services provided by a Balinese rain

stopper should you wish to use one.

BANJAR – LOCAL COMMUNITY FEE

For any event that caters for more than 20 people and/or requires a significant setup such as a stage, live music, DJ,

performances, etc., a fee of IDR 2,000,000++ will be charged and contributed directly to the local village

community.

Something To Consider…FLOWERS

Personalised decoration is available upon request. Wedding couples who engage an outside vendor for the

wedding celebrations must note that only fresh flowers are permitted for decoration purposes. The design of

decoration must be sent to the Alila event sales team for approval in line with the Alila brand.

RELIGIOUS MARRIAGE CEREMONY REQUIREMENT

Indonesian Marriage Law requires that a legal marriage in Indonesia must be performed according to the religion

of both bride and groom. Five religions are recognised in Indonesia: Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Christian

Protestant and Catholic. Given the different religious requirements for a legally valid marriage in Indonesia, we

are able to assist with a full legal wedding in a Buddhist/Christian Protestant/Muslim ceremony at IDR

11,000,000++.

Terms and ConditionsAll packages are valid for bookings made between now and December 2019. All rates are subject to change

without prior notice.

For the dinner arrangement, it is considered mandatory for the food and beverages as well as food and beverage

services to be provided by the hotel. No outside food & beverage are to be brought into the hotel by the client.

The final guaranteed number of guests for the reception dinner should be at minimum the same as the total

number of attendees for the wedding ceremony, to be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event. The

guaranteed number of guests will be billed accordingly even if the final number of guests falls short on the date

of the function. Any additional guests attending your event will be charged accordingly.

Deposit Requirements:

A deposit of 30% of the confirmed package is required to guarantee the space. A letter of agreement will

be issued by Alila Seminyak within 48 hours of the event confirmation. Balance payment for all the confirmed

arrangements will be required 30 days (1 month) prior to the date of the event.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event of cancellation, the following charges will apply:

Less than 180 days – 50% of the estimated total amount or non-refundable deposit.

Less than 120 days – 75% of the estimated total amount.

Less than 90 days – 100% of the estimated total amount.

Force Majeure:

The performance of this agreement by either party is subject to government regulations, natural disasters or

other emergencies, any of which may make it illegal or impossible to provide the facilities and/or services for the

event or to accommodate the group. In the event of force majeure, any deposit that has been paid is not

reimbursable. This agreement may be terminated for any one or more of such reasons by written notice from

one party to the other without liability.
